Quantitative Management Associates
manages the UCF Domestic Core Equity Fund. QMA is an SEC-registered investment manager that is 100% owned by Prudential Securities. They have offered enhanced index funds since 1997 and manages more than $55 billion in domestic and international assets across a broad range of strategies. They use a proprietary quantitative portfolio construction methodology to neutralize the effect of style (value versus growth) and size (large versus small capitalization), and have established a strong and consistent record of exceeding index performance.
The Pension Boards-UCC (PB-UCC)
oversees investment activity for the UCF Fixed Income Fund and the UCF Cash and Equivalent Fund. PB-UCC administers a comprehensive employee benefits programs for the United Church of Christ and their investment managers oversee in excess of $1.6 billion in fixed-income investments. Their total-return objective is consistent with a broadly diversified portfolio of higher quality and longer term fixed-income securities.
Walter Scott & Partners Limited
manages the UCF International Equity Fund. Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, the firm manages assets in excess of $7.8 billion for over 65 institutional clients.
LSV Asset Management (Chicago, IL)
manages the value portion of the UCF International Equity Fund through the application of proprietary investment models. LSV currently manages approximately $74 billion in value equity portfolios as of March 31, 2007.
Friess Associates
manages the small cap growth portion of the UCF Small Cap Equity Fund. Located in Greenville, Delaware, the firm manages assets in excess of $8.7 billion for 90 institutional clients, of which 76 are tax-exempt organizations.
Aberdeen Asset Management
manages the international emerging markets portion of the UCF International Equity Fund. A $2.7 billion dollar publicly traded company, asset management is Aberdeen's sole business. Beginning in the summer of 2007, the UCF is gradually increasing the emerging market exposure within the UCF International Equity Fund, and expects to reach the 20% target allocation by the middle of 2008.
Dimensional Fund Advisors (Santa Monica, CA)
manages the value portion of the UCF Small Cap Equity Fund. Using an investment model based on decades of research and analysis, DFA has delivered significant out-performance historically from small cap value stocks.
